Sunrise Photography at Oak Openings Metro Park | Testing My One Camera Setup for Ireland
Today I’m out at Evergreen Lake and Mallard Lake near Oak Openings Metropark in northwest Ohio testing a simple travel photography setup before my upcoming trip to Ireland. The goal for this trip is simple: bring ONE camera and see if it can handle everything — photography, video, and audio. For this field test I’m using the OM-1 Mark II paired with the 12-40mm f/2.8 and a Rode microphone. I wanted to see how practical it is to switch between photo and video while walking, shooting handheld, and capturing the environment just like I will be doing in Ireland. This location is also special for me. Growing up in this area we spent a lot of time around these lakes, so it brought back a lot of memories while I was out testing the gear. In this video I capture a few images, test stabilization, audio quality, and see if this setup is realistic for travel photography. I’d love your feedback: • Is the audio quality good enough? • Is the handheld stabilization acceptable? • Should I bring additional wind protection for Ireland? Let me know your thoughts in the comments! š· Camera Used: OM System OM-1 Mark II 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO š¤ Audio: Rode Microphone š Location: Evergreen Lake & Mallard Lake Oak Openings Metro Park – Northwest Ohio š If you enjoy photography adventures like this, please like, comment, and subscribe!
