Ireland's Storm: Cliffs of Moher Fury
Experience the wild beauty of Ireland as we explore the Cliffs of Moher in extreme winds, visit the historic Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, and finish with an unforgettable night in a packed Galway pub during a live soccer match!
This travel photography vlog starts in the charming village of Adare—home of the upcoming Ryder Cup—before racing against the weather to reach the Cliffs of Moher before high winds shut everything down. Battling intense gusts, fog, and mist, I capture what I can in some of the toughest conditions I’ve ever shot in.
From there, we head inland to Bunratty Castle where the weather completely flips, giving us a chance to explore and photograph one of Ireland’s most iconic historic sites. The journey continues through Galway, where we experience the electric atmosphere of a pub packed with fans watching a Premier League match.
I also share my thoughts on using the OM System OM-1 Mark II and 12-40mm f/2.8 lens in harsh conditions, plus my honest review of the Gate1 Travel experience and whether guided tours are worth it for photographers.
If you love travel, photography, and real-world shooting conditions—this one’s for you.
