I survived a Day of Photography with Ron Durant, But my Files Didn't
I survived an amazing day of photography with Ron Durant… but unfortunately my files didn’t. In this video I share the story of a photography trip to the Cumberland Plateau region near Crossville, Tennessee where we captured sunrise, waterfalls, and incredible landscapes. It was a fantastic day filled with hiking, exploring, and photographing beautiful locations. But when I got home and started editing my photos and video, something went terribly wrong. My laptop crashed, files disappeared, and everything from the trip was lost. In this video I talk about: • The photography adventure with Ron Durant • What happened to my images and video files • My photo and video backup workflow • The laptop crash that caused the problem • Lessons learned about backing up photography files • Changes I'm making to protect my work in the future If you're a photographer, this is a reminder about the importance of backup systems and protecting your images. Have you ever lost photos or video files? Let me know your backup workflow in the comments. 📷 Locations mentioned: Cumberland Plateau Crossville Tennessee Ozone Falls 👍 If you enjoy photography adventures, retirement lifestyle content, and camera talk, consider subscribing to the channel.
