Today I travel to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The weather and light were less the ideal. I did what I could to capture wildlife and landscape images in these conditions. Checkout the video to see how i did.

What do you do on a cold rainy day in Gatlinburg when the weather is awful and the park is shut down. You go to plan B. Today I test my Canon R5 in the rain. I find a couple of location to take some images and test the weather sealing capabilities of the Canon R5 and my Canon RF 15-35 L lens.

Today I venture out into the Smoky Mountains on a rainy day. My goal was to hike to Spruce Flats Falls to capture an image of this 50 foot waterfall. The weather was awful and the trail was wet and muddy. I took a wrong turn and ended up having to climb several hundred feet up the mountain to get back on the trail. I made it to the falls and took a few images. On the way back the trail was so wet that the side of the mountain gave way under my feet and I slide down the side of the mountain. I managed to get back on the trail and complete the hike. This was an adventure that turned out ok. In the future I will think twice before venturing out on a day like this.
